Just decompiled Robinhood's tokenized stock contracts. It's a walled garden, every transfer checks a registry of approved wallets (kyc/aml) It's unlikely these tokens can interact with defi It's very possible cefi with distribution just outcompetes existing defi protocols

There's a common misconception that TradFi is cheaper than DeFi, but that's increasingly not true. It's 20x cheaper to swap between USD -> EUR on Curve than it is for most users through a bank. FX conversion fees at Chase = 3.00% FX conversion fees at @CurveFinance = 0.13%

why did uniswap buy genie? why are nft platforms being acquired or funded? check the chain erc721 transfers happen as frequently as erc20 transfers on ethereum. users/devs like non fungibility, they're an important building block for the digital economy pfps are just the start
