My 19 yo built his first structural arch today. Just a small bldg project behind the house but something he will see often as the years go by and reflect.
When I took up masonry, it was on the heels of fine arts study, and I wanted to test, what was to me, the really unrealized limits of how masonry might be shaped.
40 yard ped path between me and my neighbor we developed together. Less than a year old and coming along nicely. Hope to get full ground cover with the black scallop ajuga this season. Crape Myrtles will eventually be an exploration in botanical sculpture.
