Rare football take - if the SEC gets four of seven at-large bids to the playoff and an 11-1 team from the other "Power 2" league doesn't get in, we might as well have the SEC just play a 15-game season and pick its own "national champion".

How about this: South Alabama got a call from the NCAA inviting them to the NIT at 9:30 last night because UC Riverside was locked into the CBI. They were told they were told they were 100% in. The NCAA called back about an hour later to say they no longer had a spot for them...

Virginia scored 14 points in the first half against Colorado State. Colorado State then turned around and scored 11 points in the first half against Texas. Now, Texas just scored 19 points in the first half against Tennessee. Virginia may *actually* be contagious.

I've watched Bryce three different times in person. He is very far away from what Bronny was as a HS/AAU player. Worse defender, worse passer, averaged under 7 ppg on under 40% shooting on the EYBL circuit. Bronny averaged 12/5/4 and played a good floor game

Victor Wembanyama had 22 points, 8 rebounds and 8 blocks in 27 minutes in this game, a two-point loss to a USA team that had seven NBA players on it. Victor was the youngest player on either team. This is not the burn you think it is.

Referee travel schedules remain so wild. Since Friday, Jeffrey Anderson has worked in Reno, the Bay Area (x2), Minneapolis, Raleigh, Nashville and Boca Raton without a day off. He has worked 14 of the last 15 days, covering every region of the United States.
