    My oldest son is a TX State Trooper working in Travis County. We were talking on the phone while he was on his way home from work this morning when he put me on hold. He stopped to give a homeless man a blanket in 30 degree weather. That’s who Texas is and that’s who MY son is!

    AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!! Long-time campus custodian Adriana Salazar officially became an AMERICAN CITIZEN yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is a terrific employee and friendly to everyone!!! CONGRATULATIONS, Adriana!!!!! We are all happy for you!!!!!!

    At 3:12 today, @landrygilpin and I took this picture in front of his retired #12 jersey. At 3:17, he got in his car and left for college football and higher education...As my youngest son, I would love for him to never have left home, but it’s time...Be great, son. I love you.

    My oldest son, Jonathan, just came home for the weekend!!!! Jonathan was a 2-time 1st Team All-District WR for us, is a Texas State graduate, and is a Texas State Trooper currently stationed in Odessa!!!!!! Yep, you’re right...I’m a proud Dad!!!!!!

    Congratulations to former Patriot FB All-District WR Jonathan Gilpin (Yes, HE IS MY OLDEST SON!!!!!!) who just graduated the Texas DPS Academy this morning and is now a Texas State Trooper!!!!! I love you and I’m proud of you, son!!!!!! #explayersbuiltthefoundation

    Landry Gilpin’s @landrygilpin college decision has finally been made!Landry will be playing FB at Southwestern University @SUPiratesFB in Georgetown, TX!! Thank you to Head Coach @CoachJoeAustin and @CoachMaskSU for the positive recruiting process!! It is a great fit for Landry!!

    Update on our QB Ricky Reyna: I just left the hospital and Ricky will spend the night there and have surgery early tomorrow morning. He broke both the bones in his lower left leg tonight midway through the 1st quarter. My heart is sad for him...He is SUCH a good boy.
