CONGRATULATIONS👏: Uganda Coffee wins Gold at the 10th International Competition for “Originally Roasted Coffees” AVPA Paris 2024. UCDA supported 12 coffee roasters to participate in the AVPA competition held in 🇫🇷. Team 🇺🇬☕️ won 3 Golds, 1 Silver, 3 Bronze & 8 Gourmet Medals.

RECORD: The July 2024 report shows another record set. A total of 821,593 bags valued at US$ 210.48m were exported, the highest figure ever exported in a single month. This was an increase of 26% & 97% in quantity & value respectively, compared to the same month last year.

The volume of coffee produced in Uganda increased from 4.5m in FY2015/16 to 8.1m in FY2020/21 an increase of 78%. By region, Central is the biggest producer at 2.83m bags, Western - 1.99m, Eastern - 1.8m, South Western 1.05m & Northern 0.45m. Karamoja is picking up too.
