Video games are art, and should be judged, critiqued, and understood not as product, not as "content", not for their "gameplay loop" or any other reductive capitalist quality, but as works of art that live and breathe and impart meaning to those of us who engage with it

ローカライズについて。その① 何か話が間違って伝わってそうですが、ローカライズでオリジナル（日本）の内容を変えることはないです。意図しない蔑称や差別的表現、宗教的な問題などがないかチェックしてもらい、その上でオリジナル脚本で直したりしてます。つまり日本版と海外版で違いはない。

Movies are allowed to make you feel discomfort, to feel scared or confused, paintings can have abstract meaning or little meaning at all. But video games aren't permitted that. "Gameplay is all that matters" and anything that isn't convenient and easy is "bad design"

I so badly wish Masamune Shirow had stayed as an artist for Fire Emblem, this artwork is absolutely gorgeous. I kind of want to know how he would have done as the artist for 3H, his works capture the intended majesty and elegance of nobility stunningly well
