I may have missed the first half of England-Ghana to do it, but it was a sacrifice well worth making to be able to speak in this debate and put the boot into Ed Miliband's deranged and damaging net zero National Suicide Pact.
The House of Lords just voted to regret Ed Miliband’s obsessive net zero policy, which has been criticised by Tony Blair, GMB and Unite the Union, because it is leading to higher energy costs and lower economic growth.

We just forced a vote in Parliament to stop the Puberty Blocker trial.
The Government voted it down.
These children are perfectly healthy. They need our care and support - not to be experimented on with life-changing drugs.

Two points in assessing net economic impact of Brexit:
1. it is highly uncertain given everything else going on.
2. whether a cost or benefit, the effect is certainly modest.
With those caveats, my judgement is the net economic effect of Brexit so far has been positive.
