I really wanted to get behind Kamala but never felt so disappointed in this party before. This was the chance to embrace a progressive future instead of putting lipstick on the pig of neoliberalism and imperialism.
In 2016, Obama's Secretary of State John Kerry said about Israel:
"If the choice is one state, Israel can either be Jewish or democratic; it cannot be both, & it won't ever really be at peace."
Biden's Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, would never criticize Israel like this.
Ritchie Torres represents the poorest congressional district in the country, but he mentions Israel 236% more than he mentions poverty. Why didn't anyone primary him? Someone needs to in 2026.
AIPAC is now a toxic pariah in the Democratic Party because voters don't want to be represented by candidates bought by any lobby, let alone a pro-genocide one.
The path forward for Dem electeds is clear: Stop arming Israel, reject AIPAC, & give our democracy back to the people.
Democrats are fearful that Israel’s war in Gaza is turning into a major political liability for President Biden and candidates down the ballot, and one that could get worse if it rages on into the summer. trib.al/qqBk7b2
The liberal organizers at this #NoHandsDay protest didn't seem to bring any megaphones so now the pro-Palestinian organizers with megaphones have a bunch of liberals chanting "From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free."
