I've been hearing things were obsolete my whole career. Ever since I saw leaflets in GWOT, I've been skeptical of people who say something is obsolete. Airborne is obsolete until you need to put a shit ton of people in a remote location really fast, and then it's not obsolete.

Find men willing to jump from a plane and you will find men willing to march into hell to destroy the enemy.
Airborne may be obsolete but the spirit of the man who becomes a paratrooper is not.

Personally spoke with a bunch across the service that got swabbed for this troop. For whatever it’s worth, I’ve never been prouder of my tribe.
