    Showers & thunderstorms are possible today in portions of the North Country, Western NY, Central NY & the Mohawk Valley. Damaging winds & heavy downpours are the main threat. It will also be very warm & humid today with "feels-like" temps reaching into the 90s in some areas.

    Stay alert this summer, New Yorkers! Impactful weather affected nearly every part of New York State in June. There were over 300 reports of hail, wind damage, floods, or tornadoes across the state, as well as four tornado touchdowns in four different counties.
