    After a successful lift-off during the test launch on May 3, 2024, the SR75 rocket has been successfully recovered. Post-flight, the suborbital rocket descended via parachute and landed with only minimal damage. The payload was fully recovered.

    HyImpulse has conducted another successful engine test campaign with hot firings of multiple HyPLOX-75 engines on Shetland Islands. The engine will be used later this year on the suborbital maiden flight of the SR-75 sounding rocket.

    HyImpulse is excited to announce the successful completion of the assembly and integration of our suborbital rocket SR75. This unique single stage rocket has a payload capacity of up to 250 kg to 200 km. SR75 is powered by our advanced hybrid propulsion system.

    We have now completed all technical preparations for the launch, including a test countdown. The wind situation has also improved slightly. However, there is still some final preparatory work to be resolved with the launch site operator @SouthernLaunch

    At 2:40 PM ACST or 7:10 AM CET, the launch vehicle lifted off successfully, and the hybrid rocket propulsion system operated as planned. After the successful lift-off, the SR75 will be retrieved for further examination and analysis of the data.

    At the Australian launch site in Koonibba, HyImpulse, a German manufacturer and system provider of commercial launch vehicles for satellite transport, successfully test-launched the 12-meter-long and 2.5-ton single-stage rocket “SR75”.
