    An Exchequer surplus of €0.7 billion was recorded in the first half of the year. This compares to a surplus of €4.5 billion last year. Read more: gov.ie/en/department-…
    INCOME TAX Receipts were €18.6 billion to end-June 2026 which is 6.7% ahead of 2025.
VAT  Receipts were €12.5 billion to end-June 2026 which is 2.3% ahead of 2025.
CORPORATION TAX Receipts were €13.7 billion which 
is 4.7% ahead of 2025.
