Why are autistic (ADHD, dyspraxic +) still ignored in physical health challenges?
Hypermobility (EDS HSD) is still considered rare. Some types are very rare but.....
As an educationalist in autism and now specialising in physical health (symptomatic hypermobility EDS HSD JHS), the most common feedback I have from parents/carers after seeing me speak or write is
'but why didn't they believe me?'
I'm so honoured to have led the content in this project with @ehlersdanlosuk and @HMSACharity to create a new school toolkit to help children with #EDS and #JHS receive the support they need throughout their education.
