I don’t know who needs to hear this, but we’re still in a pandemic. It’s ok if you’re not yet comfortable in crowds. It’s ok if you say no to things. It’s ok if you feel anxious. It’s ok if you need to rest. Your feelings are valid. And don’t let anyone convince you otherwise.

To the person who insisted on commenting on my gender multiple times as I walked to the Legislature. I heard you, as I know you wanted me to. I thank you for reminding me just how important it is I keep fighting for LGBTQ2S+ kids so they don’t have to deal with this shit.
