    I lost my dad today @ 1:38pm ET. He was an incredible husband of 51 years & father of 4. My mother shared w/ me that bc of @DawnDavenportTN Dad shared this video w/ his oncology & hospice teams. He had @Vol_Football season tickets from 1976-2021. Thanks to Dawn & all who prayed

    I was at @NDFootball vs @NavyFB, so I didn’t see this live. But my younger sister sent it to me. And I am incredibly humbled by @DawnDavenportTN’s kindness on the @Vol_Football @UKFootball broadcast regarding my father. 👏🏼 Heck of a win for #Vols Congrats

    Am told there will be an early-afternoon press conference Thursday at Tennessee to introduce new @Vol_Football head football coach Jeremy Pruitt, the nation’s top defensive coordinator and a multiple national recruiter of the year honoree.

    #SEC staff tells me Doeren is expected formally turn down UT. Agent also informs me “Don’t think he wants in that.” Watch Pruitt, Miles, perhaps Sumlin, Leach. Maybe they’ll finally call Tee or Lane?

    Have worked w/ @GrantRamey & we have confirmed John Currie/#Vols powerbrokers have been in Tampa since last night following their circuitous flight route to make ‘The Pitch’ to Gruden. Ramey will have full story.

    Am told meetings n Columbus have stalled & that as of now “nothing is signed.” Will update as I can. Schiano does have some strong supporters & turned down, per someone I trust greatly, Oregon & Minnesota, among others. But love seeing fans stand for beliefs. Enough is enough.

    Several folks tell me that former @Vol_Football star RB @MoHard20 is expected to join Jeremy Pruitt’s staff in QC role. Be hard to find a classier, more humble or harder working guy than Hardesty. An all-time good guy. #Vols

    Been in the classroom but got a message & am told @Vol_Football is giving Jeremy Pruitt a 6-year deal worth nearly $4 million on avg & a school-record & among nation’s-best roughly $5 million salary pool for assistants.
