    Wow. With TNT on the brink of losing NBA, Charles Barkley just ripped his bosses as clowns and fools on the @dpshow. Sir Charles even floated the idea of hiring Shaq, Kenny and Ernie to his production company, then selling rights to 'Inside the NBA' to another network.

    BREAKING: ESPN and NBA Legend Paul Pierce have parted ways, according to sources. Pierce posted videos of himself with exotic dancers on Instagram Live Friday night. Pierce has played a key role on 'NBA Countdown' + other ESPN basketball programming. ESPN declined to comment.

    Rising hoops star Kenny Beecham is joining NBC Sports' upcoming coverage of the NBA. 3 of Beecham's Enjoy Basketball podcasts will stream weekday on NBC Now + Peacock from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. It's 1st time NBC has partnered with a creator-led programming on NBA programming.

    Monster TV numbers for Fox Sports's telecast of Dallas Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers. Overtime thriller between two teams with national fan bases averaged 29.2M viewers. That makes it the most watched NFL game -- on any network -- this season.

    NBC Sports posted its most-watched NFL Divisional Playoff telecast in 30 years. NBC says its coverage of Detroit Lions vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers averaged 40.4M viewers across network, Peacock and NBC/NFL digital platforms. Detroit was No. 1 TV market by far with a 40.5 rating.

    Leaving Caitlin Clark off Olympic team is terrible for NBC Sports, which is paying billions for U.S. TV rights. She would have absolutely super-charged Olympic TV audiences the way she did in college and now in the pros. Short-sighted doesn't begin to describe this decision.
