What can Ireland teach the world? The Irish have never been healthier, wealthier, better educated, or happier. The country has uncovered the blueprint for national well-being, and others can learn from its success. Watch my new @TEDx talk 🇮🇪 #TEDxTUDublin

Wow - I applied for a new passport online on Monday evening and it arrived in the post on Wednesday morning! That's exceptional service. Well done to the Passport Office in the Department of Foreign Affairs. Superb public service is worth acknowledging. 👏👏👏 @PassportIRL

Ireland is the most highly educated country in the world, according to @CBRE. We are the only nation listed in which a majority of adults aged 25–64 have a bachelor’s degree or higher. Education has transformed our country's fortunes for the better. 🇮🇪👍 visualcapitalist.com/charted-the-wo…

Ireland has the 8th highest quality of life on the planet according to the latest United Nations assessment of human development. It's a remarkable achievement. No developed nation has improved its score more than Ireland has since the @UNDP started publishing reports in 1990

Alcohol and cigarette consumption in Ireland is declining and at the lowest level in decades. Alcohol consumption per person is at the lowest level in 35 years, and cigarette smoking is at the lowest level since records began in 1950. Great progress 🇮🇪. #NewYearsResolution?

Irish kids don't smoke anymore. Less than 2% of our young teenagers report smoking cigarettes every week - a figure that is lower than every other European country in this survey, and it's trending downwards over time. That's great progress. 🇮🇪🚭 gov.ie/en/publication…

The Irish live in the 5th freest country in the world. The latest Human Freedom Index ranks Ireland only behind Switzerland, New Zealand, Estonia & Denmark in terms of economic, social, and personal freedoms. That's worth celebrating 🇮🇪👏🎆
