- Firefighters are assisting with localized flooding emergencies at Dundas and Queen Frederica.
00:00 - Firefighters are on-scene removing occupants from 5 stranded cars on Hwy 410 N/B. Once people were assisted to safety by our water rescue team, firefighters went to work clearing the catch basins to help the water slowly recede. MTO now on scene to take over the task.
- This is what happens when you put ANY water on a grease fire. Smother a fire on the stove by covering with a lid and removing from heat.

- Firefighters have joined Peel Police in the search for a missing 3-year-old vulnerable child at Erindale Park. Our thoughts are with the child's loved ones during this difficult time.
- Our firefighters were awarded with the Fire Chief’s Certificate of Recognition for saving a man at a structure fire who was hanging out of a 2nd floor window. He was combative & removed the face mask of the rescuer. We extend our appreciation for their professional response.
- Today we celebrate the retirement of District Chief Richard, who has served the citizens of Mississauga for over 33 years. We wish him all the best in this next chapter!
- Congratulations to Jodine Hough on her recent promotion to Captain. Jodine has been a supportive and influential leader in her various fire service roles and we look forward to supporting her as she takes on this new challenge.
