Well I guess the cat’s out of the bag, I won the first Spotlight Series tournament! Emotions are still pretty high and it definitely hasn’t sunken in yet. Im still extremely pumped to play my first Pro Tour and can’t believe I’ll always be the first Spotlight Series champion!

Back from the PT and finally locked up my second invite with @Stanley_2099 ‘s Jeskai Prowess list in a 2 slotter (where he homie scooped in the other side of the bracket)! Jeskai mana is painful, but Phlage and Pending are insane in the archetype. Matchups below 👇 @fireshoes

Finished 11-5 (4-2 limited, 7-3 constructed) at PT FF for 20th place! An insane result considering it was my first PT. I even won my feature match this weekend which was so cool. Thanks everyone for the support this weekend and I’ll see you in Atlanta!

Unfortunately did poorly in Day 2 and ended Spotlight Indy 10-5 for 45th place. Hard to be too upset with the result, but disappointed to not do better than min cash after an 8-1 start. Looks like no first class trip for the next one (sorry @CoreyBaumeister !). See ya in Vegas!
