Really sad news that Rodney Lichfield aka Old Tommy passed away peacefully in his sleep Saturday aged 81, having been poorly for some time. We were blessed to meet and cast him as he was absolutely perfect. To you Rodders and To The Regiment it won't be the same without you. RIPx

Thank you for this really considered and well written piece. I think ED is perhaps nostalgic, but I hope and believe the reason why it resonates with many people is that its very core it's about love and compassion not cynicism and cruelty. Something we need now more than ever. X
