- I am very hesitant to assign obesity in the US to lifestyle. Something is DEEPLY wrong with their food quality. You know this because Europeans immediately gain weight in the US without changing their eating habits and lose the weight just as easily when back in Europe.
- Psilocybin (mushrooms) is the most effective known smoking addiction treatment only because people literally “suddenly realized how stupid” smoking is, no other reason given, 80% success rate.
My bf and I tried shrooms for the first time the other day, and we decided to get in the shower during the onset. As soon as the water touched me, I IMMEDIATELY was like, "No, I hate this. I'm getting out." But my boyfriend suggested I stay longer because I might end up liking - What makes the Germans so unlikeable is that they will be sticklers for this type of mundane, inconsequential “rules” while ignoring more important principles at higher levels as multiple almost daily corruption, negligence and unprofessionalism scandals demonstrate.Officially the most German thing I’ve ever read

- Replying to @Porkchop_EXPIf you want to stay a healthy weight in the US, you have to live in the gym or/and follow some radical exclusionary diet, to the extent that it becomes part of your personality. Europeans eat carbs, bread and sugars, Nutella breakfast, seed oils, etc. and don’t get fat.
- Replying to @Porkchop_EXPMost Europeans also lead a sedentary lifestyle, practice even less sports than Americans, and aren’t particularly fit either, but most aren’t even fat, much less obese. You can’t possibly justify that morbid obesity as early as in teenagers is due to “lifestyle choices”.
- LASIK basically shows how people can’t evaluate risk. If you’re smart enough you shouldn’t care it goes well for 9999 people, you don’t want to be that 1 at any cost.
- I had a good job in corporate banking when I got pregnant at 28. It was unheard of this “young”. All my colleagues treated me like a sad case of unplanned teenage pregnancy. The older I get and the more I learn about motherhood the angrier this makes me.
