    Bumped into #wwfc Conor Coady as I left St George’s Park last night. Asked him if he had mixed emotions, being part of something so special but not getting any game time. “Not a chance. These have been the best six weeks of my life,” he said. Sums up #england team spirit.

    EXCL:I’m told #nffc consider deal to take Gibbs-White to #thfc is currently OFF - Forest consulting their lawyers over what they believe is an illegal approach. They never gave permission for talks and have cut all comms with Spurs. Unlikely they can block it, but def delayed.

    Believed to be the first time ever in a @premierleague game that #lcfc v #cpfc was paused last night to allow Muslim players to break their fast once the sun had set. Fofana and Kouyate had energy gels. Was agreed pre match in captain’s meeting with the ref and Prem officials.

    Awoniyi ruptured his intestine when he collided with the post against #lcfc on Sunday, I’m told, and his situation worsened in the next 24hrs which led to emergency surgery last night. The #nffc striker remains under observation in hospital.

    Excl: Marinakis and #nffc bosses baffled by Nuno’s words - there was no intention of sacking him. But those words have caused some to seriously question his commitment to the job, feeling he may be trying to get sacked. Now a real possibility Nuno may not be in charge for #cpfc.

    EXCL: #bhfc give permission for #cfc to speak to Graham Potter. That suggests Chelsea have made it clear they’re prepared to pay Brighton’s compensation clause. Potter to travel to London and meet Boehly this afternoon. This should move quickly now.

    Extraordinary confirmation from Claude Puel. I’d been told that @kschmeichel1 had to be stopped by police on Sat night, as he ran towards the burning helicopter to try to help. Puel confirmed as much and said “Kasper lived and saw some terrible things.” #lcfc

    Ex #avfc striker Dalian Atkinson wouldn’t have died in August 2016 had he not been tasered by police for more than 6x the standard duration, and kicked in the head twice, a court has heard. Taser lasted 33seconds, and the kicks were so hard imprint of laces left on his forehead.
