Graduation is a huge accomplishment that should be shared with family and friends. After Jesse Shoemake’s mother was recently hospitalized, #SHSU faculty and staff held a surprise ceremony at the hospital so she could see her son graduate.
Today the Texas Senate recognized the Sam Houston Football team with Senate Resolution 473 for winning a national championship.
Afterward, Governor Abbott had the opportunity to meet a few members of the team.
