- Thank you to everyone who voted for me and to my family, friends and team who supported and canvassed for me. It wasn’t to be, today. But it was an honour and a privilege to serve as TD for Galway West. Congratulations to my colleague @1Hildegarde and all of the candidates.
- The unconditional love of a doggie is something I never knew until @MADRADogRescue dog Ciara came into my life. After 5 lovely years with Avril and I Ciara has passed away aged c14. Thanks for the love and memories Ciara

- I am delighted to confirm a total investment of €20m for the redevelopment of the Sportsground in Galway. In additon to the €10m from the Large Scale Sports Infrastructure, a further €10m has been committed to the project by the Government. @connachtrugby

- Having worked to secure Connemara airport for the community, I’m delighted @HHumphreysFG has confirmed a new four year €4.9m contract for the air service to the Aran Islands.
- I am delighted to confirm investment of €2.6 million in the Connemara Greenway. This funding will extend the Greenway between Clifden and Oughterard and comes from the Government’s national fund for Greenways, overseen by Minister Shane Ross. @galwaygreenway
