    Dear Jaguars, Our entire campus community is deeply saddened by the untimely death of Arlana Miller, a freshman who was majoring in agriculture on the Baton Rouge campus. Arlana was a native of Texas and one of our Southern University cheerleaders.

    Southern University extends condolences to the family, classmates, and friends of student Reginald Elloie, a senior from New Orleans who was majoring in business. Elloie was tragically killed in a vehicular accident Monday evening. Call 225-771-2480 for counseling resources.
