    We were alerted by the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) that a man had jumped into the water from the Lekki-Ikoyi Link bridge this evening, our divers were sent to carry out rescue operations immediately. @gboyegaakosile @Mr_JAGs @OkeOsanyintolu

    Ero but unfortunately capsized around Third mainland bridge close to Bariga ferry terminal. All the passengers were rescued alive by first responders including officers of the Lagos State Waterways Authority LASWA.

    Justice Josephine Oyefeso of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Eti-Osa has convicted and sentenced a boat driver, Elebiju Happiness, alleged to have caused the death of 13 of his passengers, including two children, in a boat mishap to life imprisonment.
