No joke, this is literally what I was told when I first asked to be paid for my time attending RTX… When they finally did agree to pay me a (frankly insulting) appearance fee, I was told not to tell ANYONE else (ie other voice actors) that I got paid…

It’s beyond OK to still support & watch #RWBY as those behind it put all of their heart & passion into making it… Recording Mirror Mirror for the #RWBYIQ dub is honestly one of my proudest achievements in my VO career & the kind responses I’ve received mean the WORLD to me💘

You know I love you & I sure wish this was a shock but alas… Even though I’ve been a contract-only actor-for-hire for them for over a decade, the amount of teeth grinding I’ve done over mistreatment of myself & others is exhausting & I only interact w/ them a few times a year.

In truth, the entertainment industry is broken. Especially in Texas. It’s a non union state so companies like RT use that to their advantage & pay way under the standard rate for most roles/jobs because of that loophole & lack of solid unions.
