I saw it yesterday as we marked 110 years since the Battle of the Somme. It flew over, dropping hundreds of letters written by school children around the world on paper
Thiepval, the Memorial to the Missing, is inscribed with the names of more than 72,000 men from the UK and South African forces lost to the Somme.
They may not have been found, but they are not forgotten.
We honoured them today.
