    My most opened app this year has to be @Substack. I find my people in that app daily. It's been over four months of consistently building my audience and portfolio in that ecosystem, and it's been absolute bliss.

    I'm at Substack headquarters in San Francisco today and the founders just gave a champagne toast, attended by ALL employees, celebrating 2 million paid subscriptions 🥂 THANK YOU to everybody who uses Substack, writers and readers ❤️

    The fact that there have been acquisitions of multiple Substack publications, and equity financings to raise growth capital for multiple Substack publications, is the proof that a Substack truly is an independent business—not building on somebody else's land

    It kills me, and it happens routinely… a talented independent investment analyst starts writing a finance publication on Substack… next thing you know, they get noticed by top industry pros… and get a job offer too attractive to refuse...
