Backtesting tests if you have an edge over time. Demo trading tests if you can identify that edge in live conditions. Live trading tests if you can regulate your emotions with money. They all have a purpose.

Trading 2 times a week might be overtrading. Trading 10 times a day might not be. Overtrading is not a number. It's taking more positions than your strategy has presented.

"Backtesting is useless" Yes, tell that to a professional golfer at the driving range. Tell that to an F1 driver at practice. Tell that to a footballer at training. Preparation and confidence play a significant role in achieving success.
