I think MyChart should have a section where the patient gets to put notes in about every appointment they have with a provider too.

Are you comfortable with cops being tasked to decide whether you or someone else has a legitimate medical reason to be wearing a mask? No? Then you should be paying attention to the mask bans that are being put in place around the country and should be speaking up about them.

My husband & I keep saying that even if the pandemic was suddenly over & we could be w/ more people again, how could we? There are so many people we don’t trust anymore: family, friends, churches, etc. I guess we could meet new people but it would still be difficult.

So, if Covid tests aren't being updated to pick up on new variants & most people aren't testing or if they are they're getting negative tests bc of the poor quality of tests, then of course that makes it easier to pretend that it's "just a cold" or "just some random virus".

Something so bizarre about Americans: we're not taught (or refuse to learn bc of our hubris) correct ways of dealing with any kind of communicable illness (flus, colds, viruses, etc.), so when we are thrown into a global pandemic & are forced to *try* to learn, we act like 1/3

Me to the ENT & nurse: Could you please put on a mask, especially if I’m going to need to take mine off? ENT: Oh of course. Is there an immune issue or are you on an immune suppressant? Me (only in their office bc I have a cancerous thyroid nodule): 😐

Haven’t asked for awhile, but curious, who is still taking COVID seriously & what country are you in?

I keep seeing the phrase “it’s not sustainable” in response to people calling for continued COVID precautions in society. Usually from someone who hasn’t sacrificed much at all in this pandemic. The thing is, it would be “sustainable” if we weren’t ableist & selfish. +

If you still take Covid seriously, specifically by masking in public spaces & have concerns about indoor air quality please comment below. I'd like to follow you if I'm not already. I feel like we need to see & encourage more of each other here! #CovidIsNotOver #COVIDisAirborne

Surgeon (when asked about masking policies for post surgery): “Is there an immune issue you’re concerned about? Or are you just anxious in general about getting COVID?” Me: No. I’m just having a cancerous nodule removed & I would like to not get COVID when trying to recover.

Seeing a lot of people who still take COVID seriously saying they’re at their breaking point lately. First, I know how you feel, I tend to go through cycles of feeling completely crushed & abandoned. At times even knowing how dangerous it would be, to say “f*ck it!” 1/3

It's interesting to see climate activists who aren't taking Covid seriously complaining about people not taking the climate crisis seriously. It's all connected; climate justice, disability justice, racial justice, etc. But so many don't seem to be cognizant of that reality.

Slowly but surely filling my Twitter feed with people who are still taking Covid seriously. It's cool to see people from all over the world on here.
