    We've seen reports that we're 'not allowed' to show Elden Ring performance pre-launch. Not strictly true: we've been asked to show performance analysis in our content based on the day one patch to show the game as you'll play it, which is a reasonable ask and nothing new.

    Yes, the embargo has lifted on Xbox Series X backwards compatibility. Our content is just being polished now, but if you want a teaser of the kind of horsepower Series X delivers, here's Dead or Alive 6's 4K graphics mode compared against Xbox One X.

    This would have been great but the biggest disappointment beyond the price is that no lessons have been learned from the 4Pro reveal in 2016 - video media was so poor then and is now to the point where I still don't really know how good the games look.

    That brief PS5 Pro reveal was crying out for a meatier Digital Foundry deep dive. Not sure why Sony hasn't opted not to include them in this one, but it makes them look unconfident

    Yesterday the Digital Foundry account was hijacked by parties that circumvented Google's two-factor security. Google then suspended the channel hours later - after it had been resecured. 12 hours on, we're still waiting on @YouTube/@TeamYouTube to bring it back.
