I hate to provide more sobering news but the rapid daily upswing in cases in Broward County and (soon) Dade County in #Miami is absolute proof that #coronavirus spreads perfectly well in warm weather. Our highs are in the mid 80s daily. #COVID19 #publichealth #FlattenTheCurve

Hey @Beyonce, I’m a cancer doc taking care of this huge fan @SylvesterCancer who is missing your #MIA concert as she is hospitalized for a bone marrow transplant. Can you send her some love or stop by her room? Look how her friends decorated her hospital room. #TiffStrong

Imagine if all freeways and major divided roads had protected bicycle paths in the middle like this. #cycling

As a #cancer physician who has cared for patients with #COVID19, been exposed myself and had colleagues get sick and friends die, I really wish @realDonaldTrump was encouraging the @CDCgov to spend this $300M on #masks and #testing and not on convincing Americans all is fine.

BREAKING: Trump took $300 million from the CDC to give to campaign friends to promote how well the pandemic is going. Many times these last few years I’ve found myself grateful for ⁦@ddiamond⁩. apple.news/AIjQEDVwlQMmD5…

This is a really awful decision. And contrary to patient centered medicine, especially for immunocompromised patients. University Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic reverse orders; will allow unvaccinated caregivers to stay on the job - cleveland.com. cleveland.com/coronavirus/20…

The only correct answer to this question is Episode IV. #StarWars Right @MarkHamill?

Nearly 20K interactions and nearly 200K impressions. I’m happy to report that although @beyonce hasn’t (yet) stopped by her people have been directly in touch! Thanks to all for the incredible outpouring of support. And #QueenBey for the kindness. #TiffStrong #cancer #Beyhive

Just looked at the latest #Florida data and still 13% positive in #Dade, 12% positive in #Broward and 15% in #PalmBeach suggest late start in testing, undertesting and huge reservoir of infected patients who will rapidly cause upswing in hospitalizations here. Not good. #COVID19

The 10% positivity rate of current testing is a very high number and puts us significantly higher than the U.K., South Korea, and China. Until we see the positivity rate decline significantly we are still not screening enough.

I am so very sorry. From a big fan of your journalism and a believer in science, induced immunity and common sense. Sending positive thoughts your way. When you’re ready to do a story on the economics of vaccine refusal and impact on health care costs send me a DM.

Mental health is health. Dental health is health. Why don’t we cover these things even in “good” insurance plans? Not to mention for the legions without the best coverage, or with little or no coverage. Our system is so broken.

Kids (of all ages) are REALLY struggling with mental health issues. And it’s really hard to find professional help that takes insurance. Going to do a series on this on my show @matteroffacttv soon.

I am a parent of three 18 year-old triplet girls who made it to 33 weeks and despite 6.5 weeks in the NICU all did well. I congratulate you on the boys’ birthday while imagining you still feel the grief of your loss that day. ❤️

It has been an amazing seven days. Dropped triplet #2 off at @ucdavis, hit 10K @twitter followers yesterday. But most important of all *this* happened Monday. Due to #COVID19, I eloped with my love, @ElenaMeloni9 at the spot on the left. Celebrating sunset at right. #Carmel
