    (1/3) A fire broke out in the David Jones car park on level P1 at approximately 1:30pm and has now been contained. The MFB attended within minutes, along with Victoria Police and emergency services. The cause of the fire is unknown, but was currently contained to the car park.

    (2/3) Fortunately no one was injured, but a number of cars were affected. We evacuated the David Jones car park at level P1 and closed the car park at all levels as a precaution. We advise everyone that the David Jones car park will be closed until further notice.

    (3/3) The rest of the centre is not affected, and continues to trade. We will continue to provide regular updates as to when we can open the car park, and as always the safety and wellbeing of our customers, retailers and team is our primary concern.
