- The softball players who will have the best 2020 seasons are the ones who don’t allow their results to dictate how they feel about themselves. Don’t ride the results rollercoaster 🎢. Be the same whether you’re 0/3 or 3/3. If you’ve put in the work, trust the process. #Softball
- 1st weekend of recruiting thought: I think I speak for most college coaches when I say we are NOT looking for perfect players. I’ve never walked away from a recruit because they had 1 bad AB or made an error. I don’t need perfection, I need players who can recover from mistakes.
- This has to make every #USASBIntCup highlight reel ever: @monicaabbott reaction to getting an AB 😂 #PitchersWhoHit
00:00 - This is the 2022 NCAA D1 🥎 Recruiting Calendar. If you’re a coach, recruit, or parent of a recruit, you’ll want to read this because you should understand what this calendar means to you. A thread…
- RECRUITS, TRAVEL COACHES, PARENTS OF RECRUITS, this one’s for you: This is the 2024-25 NCAA D1 🥎 Recruiting Calendar. If you want to get recruited to a D1 school, this impacts you! What does this calendar mean? I’m going to try and break it down! A thread…
- Softball players: please run out ground/fly balls hard, even if you know you’re going to be out. Coaches: stop giving your players high fives & ‘good jobs’ when they’re not playing hard. It’s not a ‘good job’ when they hit a fly ball almost over the CF head & barely jog it out.
- I don’t know who needs to hear this but September 1 is the day coaches can START contacting the 2026 class. It’s not a deadline & it’s not like we can only recruit kids we contact on 9/1. Everyone will have a different journey, and that’s okay! Trust the process.
- Recruits, travel coaches, parents of recruits, check this out! This is the 2025-26 NCAA D1 🥎 Recruiting Calendar. It may make no sense looking at it now, but I’m going to help break it down! Aug 11-Nov 23 (blue 🔵) is an evaluation period, meaning D1 coaches can evaluate you in
- ‼️Recruits & coaches‼️ It’s planning time for @PurdueSoftball 📆 this week we’ll be looking at fall tournaments (within the D1 recruiting window) & deciding where to go! Drop your fall schedules so we know where to find you! ⤵️⤵️⤵️ Want to see us play? Here’s our fall schedule!
- Dear recruits: If your dream school called you today: doesn’t matter, get better. If your dream school didn’t call you today: doesn’t matter, get better. Sept. 1 is truly the beginning of a long journey & it doesn’t end once you get calls, commit, sign, etc. Keep working 💪🏼
- Dear all recruits, in all sports, everywhere: right now, every college coach in the country has more time on their hands than ever. If you have a skills video, NOW is a good time to send it. We have plenty of time to watch, so hit us up with those links! #Recruiting
- Make practice harder than the game! Setup the machine to bounce prior to plate today, the hitters had to hit it off the bounce, similar to a tennis ball bounce drill but wayyyyy harder.
00:00 - September 1st right around the corner, the day a lot of athletes and coaches have been waiting for. One thing I know for sure: regardless of who calls or doesn’t call on 9/1, if you’re a 2022 it’ll be almost 2 years until you’re actually on a college roster...keep working hard 💪🏼
