One More Fleurie went from travelling very sweetly in todays Scottish National to really struggling on the last circuit. He suffered a bizarre injury to his hind foot. In 40 years Iโve never seen one like it!! He is staying in the Equine Hospital Glasgow for a day or two.
An update on Alfred Boucher ...
Robert Allcock's lovely grey was pulled up by @RKingscote after going lame @ChesterRaces
He's damaged a tendon, but has received exemplary care by the Racecourse Vets and is comfortable - fingers crossed๐คbut it's so far, so good ๐
Very sad to say we lost First Assignment โฆ@LudlowRaceClubโฉ today. A true gent who enjoyed his racing as much as the great boys who owned him and the wonderful team who looked after him. Will be sadly missed by all.
