Last week, @NotionHQ passed 100M users! I found the photo I took after we reached 1000 users. And I still recall the day when we passed 1M in 2020 right before covid. I feel grateful, introspective. Looking back, there's so much learning, yet much remains unchanged... 1/n

Why do Americans always vote on Tuesdays? Because 1800s citizens needed a full day's horseback ride to reach polling sites after Sunday church. Pretty amazing that this democracy runs on horse-and-buggy software in the age of the Internet and AI!

A li’l quality-of-life update: Before, you had to be really precise with your cursor so menus wouldn’t disappear on you. Should feel much more polished now 🫡

“Hourly wage” didn’t exist before the 1800s, because most people didn’t have a clock to measure it. Railroads created the pressure to standardize time (to avoid crashes.) That brought us clocks. Then we had hourly wages.
