- Insane morning. Hydroplaned on 280 and spun across 4 lanes of traffic, somehow ended up on shoulder facing traffic. Miraculously unscathed. What saved me: having done track day in the rain, which brought a moment of familiarity as I was spinning. Advice: do track day, stay safe
- 107 yo grandpa with late stage heart failure: still fighting and in high spirits. Gave me a long lecture about lifelong learning. 2024 resolution: be like grandpa; never stop learning!
