Doesn’t feel like we’d lose too much if all books were half their length, but would gain so much from being able to read twice as many books. Would love to see the new standard for nonfiction book length cut by 50%.

Whenever I meet an interesting woman in Silicon Valley who’s not on Twitter (just happened this AM; haven’t met interesting man not on Twitter), I am adamant they join immediately. I’ve learned so much, deepened relationships, and even met new people IRL because of it.

Californians: make sure to vote tomorrow. In LA as of 6/4, almost 50% of votes from age 65+, meanwhile only 5% from young people (<34). Abysmal. Vote @ShellenbergerMD for Governor to bring common sense to crime, homelessness, energy & overall governance.
