BREAKING UPDATE: he also gave him a street name! Not only does such a street actually exist in the school zone, but it’s rural and has like 7 houses on it. A short walk down the street on Google Maps and I THINK I FOUND IT 🙌🙌🙌 Now to schedule a play date and see if I’m right

For my non-scientist tweeps, the first author of a paper is the one who leads the study, does most if not all of the experiments, writes the paper, and basically lives and breathes the project for several years. The last author oversees them and provides the funding

Someone told my 4yo about "healthy" and "non-healthy" foods 😠 Now everything he eats, he's like, "Mama, is this healthy?" and no matter what it is, I say, "Yep, in reasonable amounts!". My kids will NOT be taught the same bullshit beliefs about food that I was

I have experienced this and it is a rollercoaster ride. Shock, dismay, denial, slight respect for bravery, annoyance, panic, and grim acceptance all at once, then shifting into “talk to a human” mode in a split second. Took like a day to recover
