    We may see thunderstorms bring heavy rain and strong winds to parts of our city. If storms hit, go inside and wait for conditions to pass. Exercise caution if you must travel. Never walk or drive through floodwaters. Take public transit whenever possible.

    .@MTA Due to the large crowds for the Knicks Championship Parade, bus service is suspended in much of lower Manhattan, & subways are skipping stations in that area. Consider alternate routes and allow for additional travel time. For more info, please visit

    Update for New Yorkers with access needs attending the Knicks Championship Parade: The ADA-accessible viewing area is located on the west side of Broadway, between Vesey Street and Barclay Street. The entrance is at Barclay Street and Church Street.

    Taking the train to the Knicks Championship Parade?    Get off at Bowling Green (4, 5), Fulton (4,5,J,Z,2,3), Brooklyn Bridge (4,5,6), Chambers St (J,Z), or Park Place (2,3).    Starting at 4:30AM Thursday, the Wall Street (4, 5) and City Hall (R,W) stations will be closed. They

    NYC, the Knicks are heating up and so are we. The heat index may hit 100 degrees today and tomorrow. We may also see severe thunderstorms, heavy downpours, and winds strong enough to down trees and power lines.
