    We knew we had been cancelled when we wrote and recorded our last episode so we decided to spend every last penny and go out big with the most cast members ever crammed into our recording studio while singing gleefully and shedding a tear or two!

    When one of the execs at Warners heard that I was considering having Freakazoid get out of an impenetrable cage by calling Greg, the production assistant on the show and asking for the key she said, "You can't do that! It doesn't make sense!" So we did that.

    When the folks at Teen Titans Go wanted to do a little Freakazoid episode, I was overjoyed to hear they also wanted to record Ed Asher, David Warner and Joe Leahy for a little reunion. Sadly I wasn't able to be with them...but after all those years...they still had the magic.

    Hard to believe but Dave The Barbarian premiered on the Disney Channel 21 years ago today. It was probs my favorite VO experience. We laughed much and had fun. Which is probably why it was cancelled. FUN=CANCELLATION. That's a Disney Rule.

    The Freakazoid recording session that broke me. We had footage of a man wrestling a bear. Good. We thought we'd add bear and man noises. We brought Frank Welker in to be both the man and bear. Frank recorded the bear first. We ran it back and Frank then did the man. He

    This screaming improvised diatribe was part of my audition for Freakazoid. While we recorded the Dance of Doom script, Tom Ruegger would stop every now and then and say, "do something weird". So I did. Steven Spielberg found this entertaining. And I was given the job.

    When I wrote Freakazoid's origins story, I thought it would be fun to have Jack Valenti open the show. Why? I dunno. That's how rolled. Steven Spielberg said he could get Jack to do it and we should add stuff about the ratings system. And thus this was the result!
