Sums up the depressing state of way too many HS classrooms.
Athletic teams too.
The upcoming teacher shortage will be devastating. I can't talk any high school or college kid into considering it.
Makes no sense to borrow $100K to get a college degree that qualifies you for a $45K job (and it's a hard job!).

For those high school 🏀 players who think 🏀 is a 12 month sport, it doesn’t have to be that way. Jalen Suggs (Gonzaga) was Minnesota’s Gatorade 🏈 Player of the Year in 2019.
We teach our kids to be soft-spoken in restaurants. We teach them to be more than polite to waitresses. We are ALWAYS representing our town, our school, and our families.

1. Sprint, then lift (sprinting potentiates lifting)
2. Strength is important but speed must be THE priority.
3. Speed work doesn’t cause fatigue.
4. Endurance work is not speed training.

Tearing my quad tendon on April 26th ended a 1025-day running streak and began a 161 no-running streak.
