- Elon Musk fired the entire team that identified that the Twitter algorithm amplifies right-wing voices over others. Not the first time we have seen staff — particularly Black employees — punished for flagging how their company's products enable & amplify racism. #TwitterLayoffs

- Met with Mark Zuckerberg and @facebook leadership today. It was a disappointment. They have had our demands for years and yet it is abundantly clear that they are not yet ready to address the vitriolic hate on their platform.
- 2 years ago today, Botham Jean was eating ice cream in his own home when he was killed. His murderer said she thought it was her house and that he was a burglar. For him, we fight a system that casts us as intruders in our own homes and allows Black lives to be taken senselessly.

- I don’t know who needs to hear this but Trump officials shouldn't be able to rehabilitate their reputations just bc they resigned two weeks before his term is over or put out a milquetoast statement. The media has a responsibility to name them as the violent enablers they are.
- Let's not overlook the huge win in California tonight for voting rights. Prop 17 passed, meaning parolees have their right to vote restored. With this vote, the people of CA have re-enfranchised nearly 50K voters. #YesOn17 #FreeTheVoteCALIFORNIA we just made history! Thank you for helping us to #FreeTheVote for 50,000 Californians.
