    We’ve just released React 16.8 with a stable version of Hooks. React Hooks let you use features like local state and lifecycle without writing a class. They’re fully backwards-compatible and you can start using them today. reactjs.org/blog/2019/02/0…
    What Are Hooks? Hooks let you use state and other React features without writing a class. You can also build your own Hooks to share reusable stateful logic between components.

    Our next major release is React 18. It will include out-of-the-box improvements like automatic batching, new APIs like startTransition, and a new streaming server renderer with built-in support for React.lazy.
