    What has generally passed for "Western Liberal Democracies" will largely live or die by which approach dominates. WLD's are a once (thus far) in history event. there is nothing to guarantee they go on, nor that something like it would ever happen again.

    Interesting times. The current admin has given huge amounts of money to Ukraine. Ukraine appears to have invested heavily in FTX. FTX/SBF has given prodigious sums of money to the Democratic Party. I’m just a lowly biochemist, but that looks like epic money laundering.

    Some think they are being kind by not acknowledging the issues here, but this is no better than anorexia, it just takes longer too kill the person. If “healthy at ANY size” is true, then neither obesity nor anorexia should kill people. Clearly, not the case

    The Biden administration just announced a plan for 30 MILLION student loan borrowers to receive debt relief. This would allow so many people with student debt to buy houses, start a family, go back to school, and so much more.

    .Almost certainly nothing would have helped HIM. What might have offered a glimmer of hope for Canada is if someone could have been bothered to try. People took selfies with the dead man in the background. Apathy like this is as fatal as that wound.
