Enter the "deferred" scheme, now submitted for inclusion into the x402 standard.The Edge & Node team is working with @coinbase on the future of agentic payments 🤖 Today’s x402 standard enables HTTP-native, stablecoin micropayments. But if every microtransaction settles onchain, the agent economy will not scale. Our proposal: a deferred payment scheme. •
