    I lost a lot today. A friend. A pastor. A father. A mentor. He called me every 2 weeks to pray for my wife and kids. He was a consistent voice of wisdom. The way he lived makes it easy to honor him. I don’t know of any person who talked about heaven + Jesus more. He’s home now.

    Anybody seen Covid? Are we wearing masks still? Washing hands for 30 seconds? Social distancing? I have seen no CDC guidelines for peaceful protest. Listen, I just want to play basketball. Somebody help me. NFL plans to play with fans? NBA no fans? Anybody else confused?

    What’s interesting about being insulted, is you are tempted to become the very thing you were accused of by defending yourself. Save your energy to forward progress. The biggest flex is to let someone think negatively of you while you quietly grow out of the box they have you in.

    One of the reasons I keep praying is because I’m getting old enough to watch God answer prayers I prayed 10 years ago. For my friends that are growing weary. Don’t stop praying.
