India pledged gold to borrow in 1990-91. The pledge was cleared long back but RBI chose to keep gold abroad in vaults. Keeping gold in the UK vaults costs quite a bit. And now India is bold & strong enough to get the gold stock back to India for safe keeping here. Why leave so
