Google Boss: “Ok, do we have good photos for all the players on the Texas Rangers?” Employee: “Yeah, pretty much.”

If you start watching World Series Game 5 at 10:26:44 tomorrow night, you can watch the ball drop in New York right at midnight.

Tonight, Yoshinobu Yamamoto might step up and pitch a great game to force a Game 7, because he's a big-game pitcher and that's what big-game pitchers do. Or the Blue Jays might get to him, because it's hard to dominate a team twice in one series. Either way, people will act

Freddie Freeman is a three-time World Series champ. What did he say about that in his postgame interview? Nothing. He was busy saying, "I'm just so glad Clayton Kershaw is a three-time champ." I love this team. #Dodgers

Here’s an idea: Every team just refuses to play the Astros. Just take those days off. Sure, the Astros go 162-0, but they go into the playoffs not having played a competitive game in 11 months, and Rob Manfred presides over the biggest farce of a season in baseball history.

I know this may sound extreme but I’m curious if the players have considered a work stoppage until real punishments are handed down

Shohei: “Ippei did it.” Ippei: “I did it.” Feds: “Ippei did it.” Judge: “Ippei did it.” Mountains of evidence: “Ippei did it.” Bookie: “Ippei did it.” This guy: “But has anyone considered the fact that I don’t like Shohei and have the IQ of a flip flop?”

5 years for something he didn’t even do wonder how much Ohtani gave his family

World Series Game 6, if necessary, would be played at Dodger Stadium on what would have been Fernando Valenzuela's 64th birthday. So while I'm still rooting for #Dodgers in 4, I'll take Dodgers in 6, I guess.

Shout out to Skip Schumaker for not holding up four fingers either of the two times Ohtani came up with first base open. Nothing but respect.

I don’t want a good series in San Francisco. I want a Dodgers sweep and three blowouts. I want the Dodgers to fly out Sunday night with no question in anyone’s mind who the best team in baseball is.

When my favorite team reached the World Series for the first time in three decades but lost in seven games, this is how I reacted:

This loss really hurt, but I am happy and proud to be a fan of the Dodgers, and I’m already excited for next year.

Ohtani's flyout in the 8th was 110.2 MPH with a 36-degree launch angle. Here's a ball he hit last year with similar metrics. Last year's went 418 feet; today's went 352.

If the Dodgers win tonight (or tomorrow, or Wednesday), the Giants will officially be eliminated from NL West contention.
